Dylan Thomas Centre

The Dylan Thomas Exhibition celebrates Dylan Thomas, Swansea's world famous poet. The building itself is managed by the University of Wales.

Dylan Thomas Centre

The Dylan Thomas Centre is home to a permanent, free, exhibition, 'Love the Words', which opened on 27 October 2014, Dylan's 100th birthday. Its family-friendly interactive displays tell the story of the work, life and cultural context of one of the twentieth century's most significant writers. The Exhibition is supported by a multi-use learning space, activities for children, and a temporary exhibition area.

The Dylan Thomas Exhibition team run a dynamic learning, outreach, and events programme, with a focus on participatory family activities and creative writing sessions for young people and for adults.

Guided tours of the 'Love the Words' Exhibition can be arranged for groups of all ages, and we are part of Swansea Council's 4Site Learning Programme.
