Recycling sites

There are a number of locations across Swansea where you can take items to be recycled.

Our 5 household waste recycling centres have facilities to recycle and dispose of household waste free of charge. They are not able to accept trade, commercial, construction or demolition waste.

Black bags can only be taken to Llansamlet and Clyne household waste recycling centres. We are asking residents to make sure there are no recyclable materials in their black bags before they go into the non-recyclable skip at Llansamlet or Clyne.

The tables below show what you can recycle at each site.

The centres are only closed on Christmas Eve afternoon (from 1.00pm), Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

Information about all our sites, including opening times are available on our Using the recycling sites page.
