Children's library service

Children of any age are welcome to join the library.

Each library has a special area for children, with picture books through to teenage novels, as well as a wide range of information books to help with your homework or projects.

Summer Reading Challenge: Silly Squad

Despite libraries not being open at the moment, you can still enjoy the Summer Reading Challenge with this year's campaign having a very 'silly' theme.

Bookstart packs


Bookstart is a national scheme that encourages parents to share and enjoy books with their children from as early age as possible.

Listen to Welsh rhymes and songs

Bookstart, Swansea Libraries, Menter Iaith and Language and Play worked together to produce a Welsh Language CD to be used by childcare providers and other groups working with the under 5s in Swansea.
